In May Sylvia had a conference in Seattle. I flew out at the end of her conference so we could explore Seattle and the surrounding areas together. It was wonderful and very beautiful!

Kim > Pike's Place Public market is an awesome 9 acre farmers market open every day in downtown Seattle.

Kim > The market had tons of fresh food from fish to meats to cheese to (really fantastic) bakery goods. Needless to say we were a little hungry by the end of the visit.

Kim > Apparently, Washington State has a large community of tulip growers. Who knew? I was disappointed to find out we missed the peak season in April.

Kim > Doesn't it look as if Sylvia might eat the flowers? I think she was getting hungry by this time.

Kim > Next she steals some vendors stuffed animal to wear on her shoulder. No, the vendor wasn't happy. I almost bought the damn thing because I felt bad for him.
